In March of 1995, I was born. At the terrible age of two, I was demoted from cute baby sister to jealous middle child. From then on, my sisters and I were an inseparable trio. Like most nineties kids, the decade defined our childhood...Walkie Talkies, Tamagotchi, Beanie Babies, trips to Blockbuster, Brain Quest, charm bracelets, Code Name Kids Next Door, Home Alone just to name a few of the iconic experiences of the nineties. But nothing has influenced me more in who I am today than my sisters. Sandwiched between them, I grew up as a competitive ambivert who loved puzzles, nature, art, sports, and attention but hated books, bread, and bad guys. My older sister has been my inspiration and my younger sister my motivation. My imagination was wild. I was infinitely curious. And, apparently, very organized. I liked to wonder off in shopping malls for my parents to find me a few aisles down straightening the items on the shelves. I have always sought beauty and meaning in everything that I do...

...with giant roots,
But my story dates back half a million years ago...Growing up, I heard the tales of giants roaming around the Korean peninsula. They were so big that the trees would shake by the breeze from a single breath of theirs. These were followed by stories of invasions, war, and pain as well as memoirs about escape, hope, and love. The blood of my ancestors run very deeply in me and my commitment to justice, truth, kindness, and persistence.
